With your support, Mafalda’s family will be able to carry out the essential home renovations needed for her safety and wellbeing.

🏠 Mafalda’s family needs to make accessibility adaptations to their home. Find out why.

Mafalda is a 5-year-old girl, happy and with a contagious smile.
Diagnosed with cerebral palsy, Mafalda has a global developmental delay caused by a condition affecting the Central Nervous System, which has impacted her psychomotor development and led to a severe case of epilepsy.
As Mafalda grows, her family needs to adapt their home to make daily routines easier:
🚪 The doors need to be widened
🛁 The bathroom needs to be adapted
🏠 The entrance to the building needs a ramp
🛁 The bathroom needs to be adapted
🏠 The entrance to the building needs a ramp
With great effort, the family has already managed to pay for part of the work. However, €8,000 is still missing, and that is why they asked for our help.
If together we can raise the remaining amount, it will be a huge relief for this family, allowing them to focus on what truly matters: Mafalda’s wellbeing.
“Mafalda is a little girl with a sweet smile and a bright gaze who teaches me every day the true meaning of strength.
She lives hand in hand with a rare condition that makes her journey more difficult and demanding… but never impossible. We place our hope in the therapies she attends — they are helping her grow and evolve.
Mafalda’s development has been slower than that of other children, but it comes with small victories that fill our hearts with joy.
Over these five years, our life has been a constant challenge: ensuring she has access to all the therapies she needs, managing the daily routine with everything it involves and, now, as she grows, having a home adapted to her needs would bring our family comfort, safety and happiness.”
